About Sandia National Laboratories
Sandia National Laboratories, a premier U.S. Department of Energy science and engineering lab for national security and technology innovation, has two main facilities: the original laboratory and corporate headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a second R&D laboratory in Livermore, California.
From our inception, Sandia has developed and applied science-based technologies to solve the most pressing challenges facing society at any given time, including the current task of ensuring the security and availability of energy supplies around the world.
